Shanta Jethoe is an independent traditional animator from The Netherlands, who explores the human psyche and human relationships with a critical view.
She studied Animation Design at ArtEZ, University of the Arts, where she developed a unique visual style and storytelling. Her work, often based on personal experiences, thoughts and feelings, consists of abstract stories that confront people, encourage reflection and call to their emotion.
Traditional animation techniques and the handling of materials play a central role in her work process, merging form and content.
